Drew and Jon disagree with the science of the article but agreed with the exercise prescription. Sprint training should be short bouts (generally less than 60 seconds) with full recovery (as much as 5 minutes) . An often overlooked byproduct of sprint training is that sprinting IMPROVES resilience to overuse trauma, which allows the runner to increase their mileage.
